Our Mission

At Youthika, we are on a mission to restore dignity, connection, and joy to the lives of senior citizens, one shared moment at a time. We focus on building genuine bonds through storytelling, wellness activities, and simply just listening. In today's world where elders are often forgotten and neglected, we choose to sit beside them, hear them and remind them, that they aren't alone, that their wisdom still matters.

Our Vision

We want Youthika to be a centre, a secure, lively place where the knowledge of older people meets the kindness of younger people. Our dream is to fund elderly healthcare, amplify their unheard stories, and create nationwide awareness around the silent neglect that they face. Through warmth, connection and youth-led change, Youthika aims to build a world where growing old is not a burden but a beautiful, respected journey.

A calling from within

It all started with a feeling - a hope that youth can come together and make a difference. Palak envisioned an initiative where young people can come together to support and care for the elderly, especially for the ones who are living in the old age homes. She shared her vision with Nidhi, Aditi, and Haritha. What started as a heartfelt conversation is now being guided and led by Palak, with her as the CEO and founder.

Our first gathering

At Rainbow Vistas, Rock Garden, we came together for our very first event. There were giggles, open arms, and a cozy feeling that made everyone feel at home.

Our visit to the old age homes was nothing less than a heartwarming hug filled with gentle stories, warm smiles, and new precious friendships.

Back 2 Sahaya marked our heartfelt return to Sahaya Old Age Home, where even more volunteers joined to share laughter, music, and meaningful conversations, strengthening the bridge between youth and seniors through lasting bonds of care.

How We Work

Digital Literacy That Empowers

We teach seniors how to easily browse the internet, send a message, or video call loved ones while sitting next to them, helping them connected in a world that is changing quickly.

Small Steps, Big Change

At Youthika, we think that little, consistent actions, like giving elders your time, your stories, or your skills, can help people connect and overcome loneliness. These small actions have a significant impact and unite generations.

Creating a Circle of Care

At Youthika, "Creating a Circle of Care" means the sharing of care and wisdom, where young people contribute energy, support, and fresh ideas whilst seniors share their experiences and life lessons.
